About Us

Jon Jackson

Originally Studio 29 Frames, Wimbledon Studio Frames has been operating within Wimbledon Art Studios since September 2013. The studio complex is one of the largest of its kind in Britain, a dynamic creative environment that is home to over 240 artists and makers. I am fortunate to be able to count many professional artists working here as my regular clients.

Wimbledon Studio Frames operates in many respects as does a regular High Street framer, but without many of the associated business overheads. This enables me to keep prices competitive. Just some of the services I offer are:

  • Tray framing
  • Box framing
  • Object framing
  • Textile framing
  • Conservation grade framing
  • Museum grade framing
  • Book-mounted packages for display
  • Mount decoration
  • Custom finished mouldings
  • Re-glazing
  • Frame repair
  • Canvas stretching
  • Dry-mounting
  • Collection & delivery service
  • Installation & hanging service
  • Gilding

As well as the above, I am able to refer clients to printers, photographers, fine art restorers and conservators, all of whom are expert in their field. Given my location, I am also uniquely positioned to be able to put clients in touch with highly talented artists working across the creative spectrum.

All of the materials used here at Wimbledon Studio Frames are of the highest quality, and I am able to offer a range of glazing alternatives, and an even wider range of mouldings and mount boards.
